The Kentucky Statewide Opioid Stewardship (KYSOS) Emergency Department (ED) Bridge program was highlighted at the Kentucky Opioid Symposium, October 21 and 22, in Louisville.

The Kentucky Statewide Opioid Stewardship Emergency Department Bridge team is excited to announce that Baptist Health Louisville has committed to implementing an ED Bridge Program.

Goals of the symposium included sharing of perspectives and cross state collaboration from multiple disciplines including physicians and other healthcare workers, first responders, law enforcement, community leaders and legislators.

The Kentucky Statewide Opioid Stewardship (KYSOS) program is pleased to announce that Harrison Memorial Hospital has joined the Outpatient Primary Care program for hospital-owned primary care clinics.

The KYSOS Emergency Department (ED) Bridge Program team will provide take-home naloxone to all patients upon discharge from the ED.
